Ingredients for Skinny Orange Grapefruit Margarita:
- Fresh Grapefruit Juice: 1/2 cup. Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice provides a vibrant tangy flavor without added sugars.
- Fresh Orange Juice: 1/4 cup. Fresh orange juice adds a hint of sweetness and balances the tartness of the grapefruit.
- Tequila: 2 oz. Choose a high-quality tequila for the best flavor. Opt for a blanco or silver tequila for a cleaner taste.
- Lime Juice: 1 oz. Freshly squeezed lime juice enhances the margarita's tangy profile and brightens the flavors.
- Agave Syrup: 1-2 teaspoons. This natural sweetener helps keep the cocktail light while adding a touch of sweetness.
- Club Soda: 2 oz. Club soda adds a fizzy refreshing touch without extra calories.
- Ice: For chilling the margarita.
Ingredients for Skinny Grapefruit Margarita (Mocktail Option):
- Fresh Grapefruit Juice: 1/2 cup.
- Fresh Orange Juice: 1/4 cup.
- Lime Juice: 1 oz.
- Agave Syrup: 1-2 teaspoons.
- Club Soda: 2 oz.
- Ice: For chilling.
Add about a cup of ice to a cocktail shaker or a jar with a lid. Juice the grapefruit, orange, and lime and pour the juice into the shaker or jar. Add the maple syrup and tequila (omit for mocktail), then cover and shake 10-15 times.
If you prefer a salted glass, add enough sea salt (or the salt of your choice) to cover the surface of a small saucer. Fill a small bowl with water, then dip the rim of your desired glass into the water then salt.
Fill the glass about halfway with ice, then add the margarita.
